"We have just learned that David Walker has been taken by ambulance to Covenent Hospital in Lubbbock. Because he had been

having pain in the intestinal area for the last several days, it got worse this morning. Jo Carol was driven by this brother to the Hospital to be with him.

Please pray for both of them, and we will let you know as soon as we find out more information about David

October 28, 2007 update

Pray for Martha Jo Black, physical needs.

Praise - Greg and Sara Howle have their temporary visa so they can stay in Australia for several more months.

Pray for Blaine Smith, his Mom, and Aunt as he cares for them.

Pray for Mario's brother-in-law (Gus Hernandez) as he will be having radiation and chemo. Pray for strength and pray for his wife Erma as well.

Ester goes back to see her doctor on 10-31-07, pray for a good report.

October 21, 2007 Update

Mario Rodriquez's uncle Gus Hernandez and family needs prayers

Praise- Tom and Linda Ray's daughter, Christy, is expecting a son first grandson) in January.

John Ward is recovering well and may be able to go back to work part time in about a week. Please keep John and his family in your prayers.

Continue to pray for Jetta Jackson and her family.

Sunday School party sat. October 27, 2007 at the single point building. Joey is cooking a brisket. There may be spoons and string at this party. Party starts at six.

Sat. November 3, 2007 will be a work day. We are helping a lady that Tom Ray knows about that needs her house trim painted, bushes trimmed, and whatever needs to be done. Bring tools and a strong back.

Update for week of October 14, 2007

Pray for the election on alcohol sales in Plainview, that it would be defeated.

Bible study passage for October 21 is Ephesians 1: 15-23

Cathy and David's son Adam has a job possibility in Seattle which would represent a significant promotion.

Pray for Nancy Potter (mother of Annette Coon) who had a heart attack and is in ICU. She also has other major health concerns.

Pray for Jetta Jackson - brain cancer - and Andy Jackson as he provides care.

Pray for Gus Hernandez, he is to see his Doctor this week. Pray for healing, strength, and for his wife, Erma.

Pray for Gary Falk (Karla McDonald's brother) has advanced cancer.

Praise for Jean Smith and Mary Knoohuizen, both are doing well and progressing. Thanks for continued prayers.

Pray for Dr. Selma Wilson (Larry's pain management doctor) who recently lost her 23 year old son.

Pray for John Ward's healing after his 4th back surgery. Pray for his wife and kids as he does not get paid while he is off. A fast recovery will help allot.

Praise God for giving us such a wonderful Sunday school teacher.

Update For week of October 7, 2007

Praise - Bruce Williams, brother-in-law of Tom Ray, has finally gotten his disability payments started.

Gary Falk, Karla McDonald's brother, still needs our prayers. He has cancer.

Rachel's father, Alvin Perry is doing well. Neither he nor Rachel's mom can drive right now, so they are fighting cabin fever.
Randy's mom's health has started a more serious decline. Continued prayers are appreciated.

Past members of Our” class, the Obenhaus family, need prayers for their grandson, Taylor. He was born with heart defects and is now 5 and having some difficulties.

Update October 1, 2007

Please pray for our Granddaughter, Summer Dillard. She is 5 years old and has been diagnosed with Idiopathic Thrombocytopenia Purpura (ITP). Over the past 5 months, she has been in the hospital 3 times with a critical low platelet count and bleeding under the skin. She is being treated with oral prednisone, based on weekly lab results. Every time they ween her off the medication, her platelets drop again. The pediatric oncologist in Lubbock is monitoring her closely. Acute cases in children usually resolve within 6 months. We are praying for that to happen and would like for you to add Summer to your prayer list, as well. Thank you.Glenn & Coralyn Dillard
