Update July 8, 2008

Hello folks,

Have you done your research yet? The next two women of the Bible we will study are two wives of David: Michal (daughter of Saul) and Bathsheba (widow of Uriah). Here are the pertinent passages: 1 Samuel 18-19; 2 Samuel 3:12-16 and 6:12-23 for Michal; and 2 Samuel 11-12; 2 Kings 1-2 for Bathsheba.

Thanks to those of you who took a prayer card Sunday. The Kenya team will appreciate your prayers. Wayland students who are already on the field are Kelsey Beggs, Micah Evans, and Jessica Young. Dr. Rick Shaw is with them. The three of us leaving July 16 are Ashley Hardage, Cathy and David Howle.
