Update July 15, 2008

We have a PRAISE! Our granddaughter, Summer Dillard, is recovering nicely from her spleenectomy 4 weeks ago. She has been completely weened off her prednisone and her platelets were still above normal. They don't have to return to Lubbock for two months. This is such a relief considering they have been traveling back and forth to Lubbock every couple of weeks for the past 15 months. The doctors feel like the surgery was a success.
