Update March 30, 2008

Pray for Rachel Petty's parents - my Dad had a bike wreck this week. It broke a rib and punchered his lung. He is doing well, but won't be able to drive for several weeks.

Jo Carol Walker - Please pray for BJ's eyes again.

Continue praying for Gus Hernandez, he is in the hospital, but will be released tomorrow and believe to be placed on hospice. Pray for his wife Erma, daughter - Nina, and son - Gene.

Continue to pray for Jaime Martinez (Ester's nephew) he does have some mental problems. Pray for my mother as she deals with her grandson and her own health.

Pray for Ester's family - Mario, Caleb, and Justin ( and) his girlfriend and Naomie our granddaughter.

Crystal McDonald needs a job. Please pray that she will have A Christian boss and coworkers.

Jonathan Eaves job interview went well. Pray that a job materialises if in God's will.

Continue to Pray for David Evans, Barbara Smith, Cecil Golden and Tommy Douglas.

Cork Kirk son in law of Bill and Judy Davis will leave this week for Iraq/Afghanistan. He is an Army Ranger and will be gone for three months. Please Pray for him and Cori (wife) and new baby Kynleigh.

Please Pray for Nathan Ray, that he will find a church home in Tulsa, Ok.

March 23, 2008 Update

Jo Carol Walker - My son BJ had a second eye surgery, a very bad surgery. He will need two more. He is alone in Phoenix, Az and has a new job of about six months. Thank You

Thank you for your prayers for our family at the passing of my grandmother. Please continue to pray for me, I am dealing with a lot of depression. I also go to the Doctors to have test ran on my heart. All other test that I had done several weeks ago did come back good. Thank God!

Katie Jackson (daughter of Randy and Rachel) travels to San Antonio on Friday to compete in UIL State Competition. Please pray for her safe travel.

Continue to pray for Andy Jackson (Father of Randy) as he still adjusts to the passing of his wife Jetta.

Dr. Bob Baker had by-pass surgery this week with complications. (Shaw's Paster in KY)

Praise - David Evans trip to Houston MD Anderson was successful. David's nausea problem has been taken care of. They did some minor surgery and stomach by-pass. He is able to eat small meals now, which was not possible prior to going to Houston MD Anderson. David will start chemo again in Lubbock on March 31, 2008.

Praise and Prayer Request - Tommy Douglas is doing well after his Liver transplant. He still has a way to go.



Let us pray every day for all these request.

Would you please let the class know that I found out yesterday that I am cancer free for the third year in a row!!! Praise God! Thank you for all your prayers and concern.

Update

Please be in prayer for our precious little Bradlee Dutchover (my one-year-old nephew), he has just left the doctor's office and is running high fever. The doctor does not know what is wrong. He was tested for strep (does not think this is the problem). He took a culture, but it will be 3 days before they hear back from that. He received a shot today & will have another tomorrow (I don't know what the medication was). His white blood count is extremely high and they have ruled out the ordinary things i.e. ears, nose, throat, etc.

Please pray for my niece and her family too. She is very upset. (That would be Bradlee’s mom)

Update

The prayer list didn’t reach the back row Sunday morning. Tomorrow morning, (Wednesday), I will have a CT scan. When I went through the thyrogen testing two weeks ago, the blood test came back OK as far as cancer, but the body scans showed a suspicious area. This happened last year, too. I would appreciate any prayers offered that I am still cancer free.

Praise - Tommy Douglas received a liver transplant this past week.

David Evans is still going through testing in Houston, Tx. Continue to pray for him and Linda.

Please pray for Tucker Mitchel (Cathy's uncle) as he will have back surgery soon.

Praise - Katie Jackson (daughter of Randy) placed second in the UIL calculator competition to qualify for state. She will be traveling to San Antonio on March 29.

Pray for Randy Jackson and family. Randy is in the application process to begin working on his PH.D in the fall. Please pray that God will guide us in the right direction and that our finances will work out for this plan.

Pray for Liz Kirimi in these days of grief. Her brother Moses was murdered several weeks ago. His murderer has been caught and will stand trial tomorrow. These are difficult days for our Kenyan sisters and brothers.

Please pray for traveling mercies for college students who will be traveling during spring break. I will be out, again, this coming Sunday - chaperoning Cary Catherine and two of her friends to New York City. Sally

Praise for Ilhan Yeldez - continue to recover. He was in Plainview this past week.

Update March 6, 2008

David and Linda Evans are in Houston where doctors will be examining David to see what other treatments might be successful. They did not want to have calls during this time, but would be grateful for prayers

Travel Safety for Annette who is taking a group of students to Louisville, Ky this week.

Continue to pray for Cheryl. She is still looking for a full time job. She is also waiting to hear from the doctors on the test that were run last week.

Please pray for Doris McDonald's thyroid testing - that she is still clear of cancer.

Travel Mercies for Clay and David McDonald. They are traveling to Maryland and then to Georgia next sat. & sun. Clay needs to pass his physical fitness test Friday - good health and endurance. Crystal McDonald is having a hard time dealing with Clay's leaving. Pray for good mental health & a job to occupy her time and mind.

Pray for students who will be taking the state test (TAKS Reading) this week. Pray for encouragement and endurance.

Please continue to pray for Daid Evans and his wife Linda.

Pray for Anthony Wilbanks as he travels home from Soul Korea on the 7th of March. Also that God will guide him through the next phase of his life.
