Please pray for Gary Falk (Carla McDonald's Brother) who is very ill with cancer. Pray for Carla's family also.

Pray for Salley Eaves who had foot surgery.

Pray for George Garza a driver for Walmart who fell last night and was taken to Covenant Hospital in Lubbock.

Pray for Larry Jones healing and his family.

Pray for all who travel, that they may have safe trips and returns.

Let us all remember the true reason for Christmas.

Happy Update

Mama and Babies are doing beautifully. Thank you for your many prayers. They are such a blessing. The babies arrived this morning, December 22, 2007. They are rosy and healthy and have a little hair! Mama Delina is beyond a trooper. Ben is so proud and excited.Delina Elizabeth Egnew weighs 6# 8 oz., 20 " long.Benjamin James Egnew weighs 5# 12 oz., 19" long.Grandpa Richard says put them under the Christmas Tree.Merry Christmas to you and yours,love, Ersa

Update December 21, 2007

We have a Praise! Our granddaughter's platelet count has skyrocketed to normal (302,000) since she began her immunosuppressant infusions 2 weeks ago. The doctor is going to let her skip a week and rest over the holidays. This is good news, because the infusions were making her extremely nauseous. She even ran a low grade fever after the treatment on Wednesday. The good news is that it seems to be working. Thank you for ALL your prayers. We praise God for his healing hand.

Delina is still in the hospital. The Doctor plans to induce on Friday.Thanks for all you prayers. It won't be long now!!!

Hello everyone,We found out that Larry Jones had heart bypass surgery today. He was not anticipating it, but a check with his doctor sent him to the hospital in Lubbock.Ester wrote us that Gus (Mario's uncle) has not experienced any change in his medical condition. He is taking his pain medication now, however. And remember Mario and Ester's son Justin as he had to be hospitalized for pneumonia. Please pray for these folks (and for others who are mentioned on the blogsite). Thanks in advance to Richard Sheetz who will be teaching the Sunday school lesson on the 23rd in my absence.Have a blessed Christmas! david

Richy White (Joey's brother) is recovering from heart surgery.

Crystal McDonald needs a job.

Clay McDonald is still waiting to hear from the Secret Service.

Linda Wideman needs your prayers. She had a heart attack a week ago and had a stint put in and then had more chest pains this week and had another angiogram. There was more blockage they cleaned out.

Thanks for praying for Ben and Delina and the twins. They can be born anytime after December 20th.

Still waiting. Delina's levels are better so they are hoping for more time. She may go home today if she is stable. On the ultrasound the twins are already over 5 lbs.!!!! Delina is such a trooper!Thank you so much for your prayers. I'll keep you informed. love, ersa

Update December 9, 2007

Today I got an email from one of my blog buddies named Diane who lives in Louisiana. Her son has been in treatment in Texas for drug use for about six months. He has a hearing tomorrow (Monday) and I told her that I would ask our Sunday school class to pray for her family. If her son makes it through the probationary period staying clean, his record will be cleared and he will be allowed to re-enter Louisiana. She also has a 16-year-old daughter who is rebelling and Diane is really exhausted. She is on anti-depressants which simply numb her and she is having a hard time communicating with her daughter.Would you mind adding this info to the Flannel Board? Thanks, Larry. david

Ben and Delina Egnew are at the hospital in Albany, New York. Delina went from mild toximia toextreme. They may have to induce today. They twins are 33 weeks gestation. Thanks for your prayers, I will keep you informed. ersa

Pray for Timothy Eaves's safety. He has now reported for duty as a Border Patrol agent in Brownsville, Tx.

Bill and Judy Davis - Pray for our son-in-law's grandpa (Louis Anderson of Floydada) had a quadruple by-pass on sat. Dec. 1. Recovering OK.

Praise - Test show I (Charlotte White) am cancer free! Thanks for all your prayers.
