Pray for the public schools and the students as school begins this week.

Pray for Keven King who had triple bypass surgery Thursday.

Kathy Curry (Kayla's sister-in-law) is having tests run - nervous system problems.

Kenneth Sjogren (science teacher @ coronado) had brain surgery last week to remove a tumor. It was cancerous. He is in Covenant Hospital in Lubbock.

Please pray that Edwin Ward continues to heal from both his physical and mental problems.

Praise that we have such a wonderful Sunday school teacher.

Update for August 19, 2007

Praise - Nathan, Linda and Tom's son, has gotten a job in Tulsa, Ok. Pray for him as he begins there this week.

Praise - Edwin Ward is showing improvement with his depression.

Pray for the teachers and students as school starts up.

Please pray for Annette Coon's Parents in Indiana. Mother is not well and Father recovering from a very difficult eye surgery two weeks ago and his sight still has not returned. I thank you for your prayers.

Pray for John and Yanna Elliot. They are having problems relocating in China.

Olga - Pray for all PISD teachers and students as they get ready to start a new school year.

Kayla-Praises! - Tommy has a new job - Resource Social Studies at PHS; Lindsey ( new daughter-in-law) has a teaching job at Floydada. Pray for these 2 as they start a new chapter in their careers.

Annette Coon Praise! - I am so thankful for a wonderful new job in a Christian environment and a family (Husband & Son) that supports me and encourages me. I serve an awesome God!

Pat - 1) Unspoken prayer request 2) Ryan Fithugh ( 21 yrs old and son of a college friend of mine) has been diagnosed with cancer. He has been married one year, a strong Christian. Pray for healing.

Judy & Bill Davis - our daughter Cori & her husband Cory are expecting our first grandchild in January!! They are stationed in Washington, but Cory has been gone since May to Georgia @ Ranger School. pray for safety, sanity, and health of Cori & baby.

Pray for Tom and Linda Ray as they move Nathan to Tulsa, Ok. this week.

Pray for Richard Sheetz father who is in ill health in Georgia.

Pray for Jetta Jackson (Randy's Mother) is battling brain cancer. Also pray for Randy's father and aunts for the strength they need to continue as care givers.

Pray for David and Cathy Howle who are ill.

Pray for Edwin Ward who has severe mental health problems.
