Beans and cornbread fundraiser

COME ONE COME ALL!!! Our beans and cornbread fundraiser for Relay for Life has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 4th. The biggest challenge about this change will be that we are to prepare for 150 people instead of 50. We’ve been asked to handle all of the dinner ourselves (the Howle Sunday School class). Even though this wasn’t the original plan, let’s step up the plate and meet the challenge. If you haven’t signed up to bring beans, cornbread, cookies/brownies, you can call me at 293-4158 (work) or 293-9330 (home). We’ll need to provide more condiments or pay for some out of the proceeds. If you would like me to buy the ingredients that you cook, you can also call me. Judy Whitworth

David and Cathy got a call from their daughter-in-law who lives in California. Her mother will be going in for surgery on Tuesday March 20 to remove a growth in her breast. The doctors are still not sure whether it is cancerous. Please pray for Rainbow Hill.

A Message from Judy Whitworth

The Relay for Life fundraiser – a beans and cornbread dinner – is scheduled for March 25th. Because spring break will extend across both weekends before that date, signup has been and will be lax. So please call me at work (cause that’s where I’ll be) at 293-4158 to sign up to bring beans, cornbread or cookies and sign up to help in the kitchen that night. We’ll serve the beans in a crock pot but you don’t have to have one to make beans. We’ll have a few condiments too. Thanks Judy

Rachel's Grandmother Very Ill

Evelyn Hartley is in Covenant Hospital - Plainview in very serious condition. Rachel's uncle said that God has controlled her pain. No morphine. She had fallen again and has broken her leg. Please pray for Rachel' s Grandmother, Rachel, and all her family and friends at this difficult time in their lives.

Pray for Linda & Tom's brother in law, Bruce Williams, who has health problems.

Pray for all who are travelling during spring break.

Doris McDonaldwill have a chest CT thursday. Thyrogen test body scan shows something, but the blood test did not. The Dr. is not concerned, but wants to follow up just to make sure. Keep her in our prayers.

Pat Smith got a good report on her heart condition. she is undergoing other test.

Richard Sheetz will have nose surgery friday.

Pray for Jetta Jackson as she continues to suffer from brain cancer.

Pray for Shad and Keva Reed (friends of Randy Jackson) as they continue to try and adopt a child.

Pray for Evelyn Hartey- Rachell Petty's grandmother, for her continued recovery from a fall.
